Bush Approval Up a Bit

The left was hoping, and indeed expecting, that Hurricane Katrina would put a big hole in President Bush’s approval rating.

And indeed, it might have knocked it down two or three points.

But if so, it has bounced back nicely. Real Clear Politics shows Bush’s approval at 45%, based on an average of the three most recent polls.
