From my point of view I would ban religion completely, even though there are some wonderful things about it. I love the idea of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the beautiful stories about it, which I loved in Sunday school and I collected all the little stickers and put them in my book. But the reality is that organised religion doesn’t seem to work. It turns people into hateful lemmings and it’s not really compassionate.Much less noticed are the singer’s comments about his sexual history in the same interview.
I didn’t have sex until I was 23 and that was with a man. I made up for lost time after that in a hurry. I wish I could have had sex when I was, like, 14, 15 or 16 because that’s such an exciting age to have sex.Liberals typically claim that they don’t really approve of teenagers having sex. It’s just unavoidable, they say. Teens are going to have sex, so let’s hand out condoms and teach about “safe sex.”
But many (and perhaps most) simply aren’t being honest about this.
