Lena Taylor: Anti-American
Great bit of investigation from Daniel Suhr at GOP3.COM.
It seems that Taylor’s Myspace page has (or at least had) a cartoon lampooning Americans for being (supposedly) so terribly provincial.

We checked the site, and apparently it has been sanitized. We could not find the cartoon in question.
But we did find an interesting motto that Taylor has.

She is not an MU Law grad. She graduated from UW-Milwaukee and went to law school at Southern Illinois, a third tier law school.
Gwen Moore received her undergrad degree from Marquette.
I graduated from Marquette and went to High School with Lena Taylor at Rufus King High School. I Support Lena Taylor and find your comments pointless and simplistic. Someone expresses their personal opinion (freedom of speech) and you call them Anti-American? As an attorney from a "top-tier" school - since I need to put up my credentials, I would suggest that you focus on the real issues at stake instead of name calling and looking for insignificant snippets to magnify the fact that you do not have a point or a clue about what it truly means to be an American!

OK, somebody expresses "a personal opinion" (freedom of speech) that they don't like black people, and you would call them "racist."
Look, you would never blow off a bigoted or hateful statement from some conservative politician.
No because I know the definition of racism and a racist. Unfortunately my life experience has exposed me to such limited thinking. I "personally" would not bother to respond, because it is their personal opinion and they have a right to express themselves as I have a right not to engage them any further. Why waste time trying to figure out why it would be necessary to make such a blanketed statement about a particular group. The only reason for such a misguided utterance can only be hate or ignorance - their is no rocket science behind it because basic intelligence dictates that knowledge of one does not mean knowledge of all. The key difference for me is if someone who is entrusted by public trust vs an individual who is responsible for representing the American public in general. Even the most conservative racist politician knows to refrain from making certain opinions public.
