So, a right-wing, Republican, paleo- conservative is a "loony lefty"?
If this incident is "telling", as you suggest, it is so because it shows that there are crazy people on the right just as there are crazy people on the left.
But my guess is that's not the point you were hoping to make.
And people wonder why I hate crowds. A large number of people are little more than sheep, when in a crowd. They can become violent in the blink of an eye.
