This well illustrates the difference between Marquette and the great state university.
Wisconsin professors win $800 million per year in competitively-bid research grants and Marquette gets a half a million via an earmark to study how to turn human excrement into electricity.
I can hear it now -- "Flush out Ahoya with an MU fart, fart!"
On, Wisconsin!
It could be interesting to get an open discussion going about this between the department receiving this funding, an economist, and a political scientist at MU... At any rate, this clip doesn't exactly make MU or our Congresswoman look the greatest...
