What's your evidence that each of these Palin haters is a lefty?
Comments wishing Sarah Palin death or ill are clearly unacceptable and horrid. But so are the numerous violent comments directed toward people on the left. Both must be condemned.
Also, I don't think this says anything about "liberals" as a group, any more than violent language by quacks on the right says anything about "conservatives."
While I am far from blaming Palin and others for the most recent shooting in Arizona (or other specific acts), I think the rhetoric of hate and violence must be toned damn and is rightly condemned.
But so are the numerous violent comments directed toward people on the left. Both must be condemned.
I agree, but remember the context of this post (not on my blog, but in the wider media context) is to blame rhetoric from the right.
Once we are clear that nasty rhetoric comes from both sides (and that none of it had anything to do with the shootings), we can move on to relevant discussions.
