Blogswarm on Suspended Dental School Blogger

The suspension of a Marquette Dental School student for some comments on his blog has produced a blogswarm: it has reverberated all through the blog world.

A Technorati search on “Marquette Student blog” turns up 135 posts since the post on this blog that broke the story this past Sunday. Essentially all of the posts are about the Dental School blogger (no other Marquette blogs have been subject to controversy during that time).

Needless to say, the reaction to Marquette’s actions has been almost uniformly negative.
